Job Summary
In your management role, the Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing all Front of House staff. Organizing the work, scheduled working hours, and ensures that hygiene and safety rules are adhered to.
The Front of House Manager is also responsible for ensuring the customer receives the warmest possible welcome. It's pivotal the way in which each member of the Front of House team works and interacts with guests. You must be confident to give advice and converse with staff/guests to ensure that their experience is nothing less then exceptional.

- Know how to manage and work in a team. The Front of House Manager may also need to intervene in any conflict that may arise, or resolve a range of problems.

- Be precise, to ensure the best possible customer experience. The Front of House Manager must monitor the work of each individual and pay close attention to every detail.
- Be a good manager, know how to make the right decision and anticipate needs to meet profitability objectives.
An impeccable appearance is mandatory in this profession and applies to the whole Front of House team as they are in direct contact with the customers.
Job Duties
- Front of House Scheduling
- Liquor inventory & ordering
- Maintain familiarity with the composition of all menu items.
- Serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous manner.
- Clean designated areas, in accordance with duties check lists, morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements.
- Ensure stations are adequately stocked with replacement cutlery, linen or other established needs, be they food or equipment.
- Manage staff in a professional manner outlined by ownership and ensure all policies and duties are adhered to at all times.
- Manage all conflicts in a professional non bias manner.
- Be continually aware of, and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress code.
- Other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Up to date PRO-SERVE certificate.
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
- Previous experience supervising within a restaurant setting is mandatory.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully and professionally at all times.
- Computer literate, including TouchBistro POS system being an asset.
- Professional appearance and manners.
*This position is Part Time leading to Full Time (Summer).

Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
