Front Of House Manager

Calgary's Best Pubs is looking for experienced General Managers and AGMs.

Calgary's Best Pubs offers an incredible variety of beer and spirits matched with Gastro Pub-style cuisine. We are looking for a dynamic individual to assist the District Manager in day-to-day operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure that every guest feels welcome and is given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
• Responsible for communication in-house with both Front of House & back of House management teams, as well as communicating from Pub to Head Office, Upper Management and owners.
• Under the General Manager’s authority, pub management teams are responsible for the pub’s human resources which is not limited to Hiring, Training, Staff Retention, and Scheduling.
• Train, mentor and guide your pub team, so that the pub is in top condition & operating smoothly regardless of who is on shift.

Requirements;

• Open Availability
• Minimum 3 years serving or bartending in a similar environment
• Minimum 1 year Supervising or Managing in a similar environment is preferred
• Pro Serve Certification
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Proficiency with Excel and Word is an asset
• Pro Tect Certification
• Food Safe Certification
• Criminal Record Check
• Preference will be given to those with a strong working knowledge of Beer and Major Sports

Salary: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
