Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure food is safe for consumption
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely service
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, processing payments, and upselling menu items
- Operate POS system accurately to process orders and handle cash transactions
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding food preparation, portion control, and presentation
Experience:
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred
- Knowledge of basic math for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils used in food preparation
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
