Hotel Front Desk Agent

We are a family-style motel that has been servicing visitors to the Okanagan for over 40 years.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and honest person for a Hotel Front Desk Agent position. You must be able to multi-task and exceed our guest's expectations. The position is part-time to begin with the option of full-time. Extended medical once the probation period completed

Duties include and are not limited to;

Providing visitors and guests prompt and courteous attention at all times

Answering calls directly in a professional and consistent manner and responding to reservation inquiries, booking of reservations and the ability to resolve guests concerns and issues

Responsible for the registration of guest and the checking out of guests.

Cashering duties including guest payments and posting into our reservation system; handling cash, debit cards, and credit cards and the ability to settle accounts for end of day settlement.

The ability to help other employees when the situation may arise, ie; house keeping and laundry.

Job Requirements

Organized, task oriented, self motivated and responsible

Fluent in English and a knowledge of Penticton and surrounding areas

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Trainiing will be administered for our reservation system

Must be able to stand and sit for 8 hours; sometimes more.

Hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Ability to work flexible hours and weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
