We are looking for a customer centric Guest Services Agent to join our team at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott West Kelowna
Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments
- Handle & coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals
- Check-in and check-out of groups and tours
- Answering calls and assisting guests with reservations or any other inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assisting guests with booking wine packages, restaurant reservations
- Contributing to a positive team culture
- A proactive approach to guest comments/issues, ensuring these are handled in a professional manner meeting or exceeding guests expectations
- Help achieve departmental goals and contributes ideas for better guest satisfaction, colleague relations and revenue enhancement by providing motivational leadership
- High School graduation required
- Hotel experience an asset but not required.
- Proficient with computers. Experience with Fosse will be an asset
- Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects
- Self Starter who is empowered to take the initiative to do what it takes to ensure the best guest experience
- Ability to work with all employees to promote teamwork and co-operative relationships within and across departments
- Ability to work evenings and weekends. Shifts run from 7am - 3pm or 3pm - 11pm, so reliable transportation is important. Occasionally you may be asked to cover an overnight 11pm – 7am shift.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.00 per hour
