- Administering human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; recognition; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Providing consultation and guidance to internal stakeholders on HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinating employee onboarding and offboarding, including pre-employment background checks, offer letters, new hire paperwork and onboarding logistics, orientation meetings and exit interviews.
- Administering benefits, short-term & long-term disability insurance and provide support to employees throughout the process.
- Coordinating and tracking new hire immigration processes including coordination of Labor Market Impact Assessments and Global Talent Stream applications.
- Working closely with employees and managers to provide guidance and solution to HR day-to-day issues including vacation, sick leave, unpaid leave, maternity/paternity leave, work authorization, benefits, RRSP, etc.
- Assisting HR Generalist with monthly & quarterly reports on various HR metrics.
- 1-2 years' experience in a fast-paced human resources capacity
- Hold a University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Human Resources or in a related field.
- Minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience including experience with recruitment, onboarding, performance management and compensation management;
- Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation is required
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Experience with BambooHR or similar HRIS preferred
- Intermediate Excel skills
- You have a friendly willingness to collaborate and play nice with others

- You are a personable individual who is able to build professional relationships across the organization, enabling a high degree of teamwork
- Fluently bilingual - French & English
