The Opportunity - Human Resources Advisor

We are seeking a thoughtful, engaging and results-oriented individual to support the organization’s Human Resources function.

Reporting directly to the Sinclar Group Human Resources Manager – Lumber Operations, with functional responsibility to the Apollo Plant Manager, the Human Resources Advisorwill be a key strategic business partner and member of the operational Management Team. This position requires an individual with a high level of professionalism, a demonstrated background of strong relationship management and an ability to contribute to a positive culture based on mutual trust and respect.

As an integral part of the Sinclar HR team, you will deliver a broad range of on-site Human Resources services at Apollo Forest Products. Your presence within the mill as well as the office will provide you with an excellent opportunity to influence, engage and develop people, support safety initiatives and lead change through continuous improvement. Exercising considerable judgment, integrity and discretion at all times, you will provide support, sound advice and guidance in all employee matters in an effort to establish and maintain sound working relationships with employees and management.

As the successful candidate, you are an experienced Human Resources professional who thrives within a diverse workplace. A background in lumber manufacturing is an asset.

The salary range for this position is: $75,786 - $94,732 per year.
