Seapark is a market leader in industrial laundry which includes the cleaning of gloves, shop towels, uniforms, and more. We are currently looking to hire a part-time Human Resources Assistant Co-op to join our growing company!
Objective
Seapark Industrial Glove Recycling is seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to join our team. The HR Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Manager, assisting with various HR functions, and ensuring smooth operations within the department.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial screenings of candidates.
- Maintain employee records, including updating personal information, employment history, and documentation related to benefits and payroll.
- Create policies and procedures, employee newsletters, social media posts.
- Assist in the orientation and onboarding process for new employees, including preparing new hire paperwork and conducting orientation sessions.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and other ad-hoc duties.
Physical Demands
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Moving, lifting, carrying items weighing up to 40 lbs

Education, Experience, Licensing Requirements
- Education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a Human Resources program or position required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations is a plus.
Job Types: Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 8 months
Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
