SalaryPapp Plastics is a progressive Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive plastic injection molding company located in LaSalle. Papp has been in business for over 30 years. We are a multi plant operation that runs 3 shifts 5 days a week. We are currently seeking to hire a Part time Human Resources Assistant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of the Human Resources department
· Manage collection/accuracy of time cards and regular processing of payroll for hourly paid plant employees
· Conduct orientation for new plant employees
· Manages work related injuries and claims and strive for continuous improvement relating to Health and Safety
· Co-ordinate internal and external training and recruitment activities
· Responsible for maintaining employee absentee reporting and disciplines
· Provide administrative support for the management team as required
· Works with employees as required to ensure conformance with quality system requirements.
· Responsible to develop, control and implement all Health & Safety Policies & Procedures
· Provide assistance with internal audits related to Health & Safety
· Responsible for ensuring the required Health & Safety training is implemented
· Coordinate annual BBQ and Christmas Luncheon and other events as required
· Perform all other duties as assigned
