Flux Renewables is a leading provider of Premium Solar Solutions. We design, install, and maintain solar systems for residential & commercial clients in Southern Alberta.
Position Overview:
We are seeking immediately, a reliable, genuine & enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Journeyperson Electrician in the solar field. Applicant must reside in the Calgary area, as the provided company vehicle is taken home daily. Out of country applicants will not be reviewed.
In this role, you will lead the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar energy systems. You will work closely with our Project Managers to execute projects with the standard of quality unmatched in the industry.
You will be provided with a comprehensive 1 month on site training program to ensure alignment with our company mission & standards. Once trained with the proper knowledge to execute solar projects to our standards, you will be equipped with a company van and team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead in the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, including mounting panels, connecting wiring, and installing inverters and other electrical components.
- Troubleshooting and repair of solar systems when required.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and your team.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of projects and meet quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records & photos of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
- High attention to detail
- Ownership of hand and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Comfortable with heights and outdoor weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
