Your daily life:
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible perform general maintenance at the Eddyfi Nanaimo facility.
In this role, you will:
- Perform daily basic preventative maintenance on certain equipment.
- Empty all garbage containers and cardboard recycling.
- Remove redundant materials from site.
- Replenish supplies as required (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, dish soap, etc.) .
- Maintain grounds as required.
- Paint areas as and when required.
- Change furnace and air conditioning filters as required.
- Change light fixtures when needed.
- Perform minor construction i.e.. Build test walls, repair walls etc.
- Assist with various projects as needed (such as handling and moving materials, tools, and equipment; moving furniture; building desks; clean-up; etc.).
- Daily delivery & Collections.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly workspaces.
- Identify problems and opportunities for improvement and inform supervisor; contribute to continuous improvement of departmental processes and practices to increase quality, efficiency, and productivity.
- Participate in the assigned training; participate in staff meetings and departmental meetings as required.
- Follow relevant Procedures, Work Instructions, and other related Controlled Documents, and apply good practices in implementing processes to maximize performance and quality.
- Complete documentation as required by quality management procedures.
- Assist with Stock counting if required.
- Basic Admin tasks.

- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience;
- Your are trustworthy and work independently;
- You have forklift experience;
- You like to do different things and help your team!
