Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will have the following main responsibilities:
- Schedule maintenance activities to maximize OEE and processes;
- Evaluate and organize the information, people, materials and equipment required to complete the maintenance job;
- Determine required time for completion of maintenance jobs;
- Prioritize work and co-ordinate with production to make efficient use of available time;
- Assist in developing reliability strategy while focusing on downtime reduction;
- Coordinate internal and external human resources;
- Build, maintain and analyze work history and recurring activities of equipment;
- Statistical measurement and analysis of trends and KPIs;
- Daily receiving of supplies and purchase orders;
- Prepare work order kits for maintenance;
- Accountable for maintenance budget;
- Maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and support MTC program;
- Support divisional and corporate objectives including health & safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, waste and 5S;
- Manage, direct and implement a variety of projects.
- The ideal candidate will have:
- Direct relative experience and knowledge to accurately coordinate maintenance activities;
- In-depth knowledge of equipment, manufacturing, preventative & predictive maintenance;
- Ability to ensure accuracy and monitor quality of work while honoring commitments;
- Ability to assess a situation, take initiative, be proactive and propose solutions;
- Ability to collaborate with others, be a team member, listen and communicate effectively;
- Ability to establish effective working relationships and networks of people;

- Proficient use of various computer programs (SAP, Ariba, Guide TI, MS Office);
- Knowledge of the corrugated industry would be an asset;

- Ensure the availability and performance of equipment by dealing with maintenance operations in priority order
- Ensure the scheduling of work orders by planning, optimizing and evaluating the necessary resources
- Follow work order management processes
- Work with other sectors to coordinate and prioritize activities
- Support the supervisor in work organization
- Take the initiative to develop his or her skills
- Comply with safe work standards in effect
- Contribute to a safe and healthy work environment for all staff in his units
- Identify OHS requirements when planning work

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Planner’s mission is to produce a weekly schedule for planned maintenance orders for work in progress and for planned shutdown work in order to meet his or her unit’s operational objectives. You thus evaluate and maximize the availability of equipment and workforce needed to perform maintenance work. Finally, you continuously improve and maintain the maintenance and reliability management systems up to date. As a result, you actively contribute to the optimization of your unit’s operational efficiency and performance.
