As the Manager, Social Media, you will lead the Social Media team and manage the execution and strategy of the Social Media Channels for Moneris. You will manage marketing campaigns, merchant communications and community management on our online channels and expand our marketing mix. As an internal subject-matter expert, you will be part of the strategic development of how we use digital channels to reach business objectives.
Location: You will be based in our Toronto, ON office and will work in a Hybrid model.
Reporting Relationship : You will report to the Director, Digital Channels & UX/UI.
Your Moneris Career - What you'll do
Responsible for the daily management of Moneris Social Media Channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and more…
Strategically define Social Media Channel marketing mix in how to use the channels to feed both awareness and acquisition business objectives. Define overarching strategy of funnel to hit these objectives, and ensure content is optimized for the channel.
Develop regular reporting of channels and campaigns.
Be the internal SME for all things Social Media. Help educate and inform internal employees, partners, and other team members on how to best use Social Media for their own use and expand the reach of Moneris content within networks.
Collaborate with internal and external parties to execute campaigns.
Consult with other members of the Digital and Content team.
Develop relationships with vendors and platforms and keep informed of all best practices and innovation in the industry.
Your Moneris Career - What you bring
University Degree.
5-7 years of relevant experience within the field of digital and marketing.
5+ years experience running Social Media for organizations in a corporate and/or B2B environment.
1-3 years leading a team of marketers in a supervisory/management role.
Experience in reporting and analytics including platforms such as Sprinklr and Google Analytics.
Proficient in Content Marketing.
Proficient in Design including Photoshop.
Solid experience in communicating and documenting solutions.
Ability to present findings to senior leadership and share reporting updates to larger teams.
Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal).
Ability to simplify and explain complex web development needs and procedures to different audiences.
Nice-to-have...
Equivalent work experience may be considered a substitution.
Previous experience in the payment industry is considered an asset.
Bilingualism in French (reading, writing, and verbal) is considered an asset.
