SalaryUnited Floral Distributors (UFD) is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. We are a floral wholesaler, providing cut flowers, plants, bouquets and greenery to customers across Ontario and the northeastern United States. We are looking for a hardworking, creative individual who has experience in marketing. Wages are based on a experience.
Responsibility
- Create programs/flyers/marketing materials for specific holidays
- Be in charge of website development and updates
- Research current trends in the market and develop a brand style for UFD that is consistent with our marketing efforts
- Create weekly sales ads for sales representatives as well as social media
- Brainstorming and creating new marketing campaigns, materials and promotions
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of marketing and content creation experience
- Strong creative writing skills and knowledge of graphic skills (Adobe Suite)
- Demonstrate strong written and interpersonal communication skills and display a willingness to present ideas and willingly make edits as needed
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to manage your own time, being autonomous, as well as being able to work well with a team
- Have basic photography skills and an eye for composition
- Some floral experience and knowledge required
- In depth experience and skills working with marketing programs and the Microsoft suite, website and blogging design (Squarespace) as well as social media and its various platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment with short deadlines at times.
Job Type: Part-time, Monday and Tuesday. Ability to work additional days in a week (during busier seasons if workload calls for it).

Compensation: Compensation will be based on experience and skill set.
