This is a remote permanent position for those based on the East Coast of the US or Canada,

The Opportunity

We are looking for a world-class Marketing Director to join us on this journey. The ideal candidate will have extensive B2B marketing experience in the digital / tech sector. This person must also be able to lead a multidisciplinary team, and interact with leadership stakeholders on a regular basis. Ideally, this person will also have an understanding of content strategy and the digital marketing channels that can bring it to life. This role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.

As the Marketing Director, your main objectives will be:

  • Oversee (EU-based) members of the marketing team involved with content marketing - digital marketer, events manager, social media manager, copywriter, and visual designers. Provide direction as required and problem-solving as requested.
  • Be the first point of contact for US-based leadership stakeholders for guidance
  • Support leaders of multiple business units (US- and EU-based) on each of their unique go-to-market objectives, while also being able to tell a consistent global "story" of the Nearform value proposition
  • Collaborate with those BUs' sales teams, to uncover insights for developing content strategies for existing and new client
  • Drive growth marketing engine, by initiating a content strategy to attract target customers and seeing it through, from the production of blogs/articles/images/videos to the execution of paid marketing efforts
  • Understand key performance metrics and tracking tools for campaign results and translate results into actionable insights for the Marketing team

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with team members in different regions (North America + EU) and across functions (Marketing, Sales, more)
  • Together with CMO, generate a content strategy by working closely with internal stakeholders and external / market research to identify key topics
  • Design and execute effective targeting campaigns, focused on engaging with and growing our client pipelines - overseeing the content/asset creation and the digital marketing campaign from start to finish, providing ongoing reports/analytics and recommendations
  • Oversee events planning and execution, together with Events Manager
  • Oversee social media presence, together with Social Media Manager
  • Provide thought partnership to key internal stakeholders - such as BU General Managers, Regional Sales Teams, and more - through a regular cadence of interaction
  • Work closely with Marketing team peers, including the Director of Branding on Comms, when collaboration is required or requested.

Requirements

  • Successful track record in B2B marketing role and content strategy
  • Experience in the digital / tech sector
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to manage interdisciplinary teams

Desirable skills

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • Proficiency working with LinkedIn and Hubspot
  • Desire to grow professionally through ongoing learning
