```Duties```
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the Medical Office
- Greet and assist patients, answer phone calls, and schedule appointments
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Handle billing and insurance claims, including verifying insurance coverage and processing payments
- Manage front desk operations, including checking in patients and collecting necessary paperwork
- File and organize documents, both electronically and in physical form
- Communicate with patients, physicians, and other staff members in a professional manner
- Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee records
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial transactions and record keeping
- Assist with budgeting and financial management of the Medical Office
- Support human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
```Requirements```
- Proven experience as a Medical Office assistant or in a similar administrative role
- Proficient in clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with front desk operations and phone systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer software programs such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
