Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, verifying their information and insurance coverage
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Maintain electronic medical records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits and assist with procedures as needed
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
Experience/Qualifications:
-MOA certification would be an asset
- Previous experience working in a Medical Office or dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using office software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Experience with Accuro software is a plus
