Office Administrator

Northern Climate Heating & Cooling is a full-service HVAC/R company located in Chester Basin, NS.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Basic accounting knowledge and be able to work well under pressure. We are looking for an individual that is able to cover all office duties and work independently.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Answering the phone and greeting customers
• Organize and schedule field work, appointments and meetings
• Respond to emails and voicemails
• Receive payments over the phone and in-person
• Prepare quotes, invoices and other documents as required
• Maintain current filing system
• Maintain cleanliness of office
• Tracking warehouse stock and placing orders
• Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
• Maintain accurate financial and customer database records using Sage 50
• Tracking jobs/projects using in-house PO system
• Assist with month-end and year-end procedures

Qualifications:

• Post secondary education, Bachelor’s degree or community college equivalent
• 2-5 years of office experience
• Must have basic accounting knowledge
• Must be proficient in Sage 50, Microsoft Office, and Google products
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have exceptional attention to detail
• Strong organization and time management skills, and ability to prioritize
• Must be a self starter and driven
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
