Office Administrator
Background:
Davco is an industrial construction company building projects across Western Canada. We build these projects with our staff of Welders, Pipefitters, Insulators, Labourers, and Crane Operators. The trades workers are supported by a project management team including Project Managers, Superintendents, QC inspectors, Safety Coordinators, and administrators.

Davco is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Office Administrator. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office. Skills:
- Must have solid computer knowledge and abilities
- Manage and coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency.
- Greet and assist visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and handle inquiries in a professional manner.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the team.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
- Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Support HR with administrative tasks, such as onboarding and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate effective communication and workflow.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator, office assistant, or relevant role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with basic bookkeeping principles is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Education
- Post Secondary Diploma in Business/Clerical
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
Workday
- Monday to Friday
- 8 hour work day
- There may be some overtime to assist with project completion

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
