Spacevent Manufacturing Inc. is hiring an Office Admin/ Customer Service, one who has a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related area. A suitable candidate should have a good knowledge of Microsoft word, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and Sage 50.

As an Office Administrator you are responsible for providing administrative support to office personnel. You work closely with managers by handling clerical duties, coordinating calendars, and organizing meetings.
As a Customer Service representative, you are responsible for answering customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing information about products and services. You are also responsible for maintaining customer accounts, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, outstanding organizational and leadership skills, familiarity with office management procedures, basic accounting principles, be able to work well under pressure, and have at least high school diploma or equivalent.
Your duties and responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming visitors and directing them to relevant staff
- Coordinating meetings, appointments, and various administrative projects
- Overseeing office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies
- Supervising administrative staff and dividing responsibilities to ensure performance
- Managing phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.)
- Supporting budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
- Creating and updating records and databases with personnel, financial, and other data
- Tracking stocks of office supplies and placing orders when necessary
- Receiving and processing orders and track the shipments
- Tracking warehouse stock and placing orders when necessary
- Communicating with the warehouse staff to make sure orders are handled professionally
- Maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Sage 50
- Preparing financial statements and reports
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Processing payroll
- Reconciling bank statements
- Preparing tax filings (HST, WCB, T4, installments)
- Providing general office assistance as required
- Providing excellent Customer Service
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Postsecondary courses in accounting preferred
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Familiarity with office management procedures
- Basic accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented, analytical, skilled in arithmetic, and honest

Salary: $15.01-$25.40 per hour
