Office Administrator/Receptionist

Peter Braithwaite Studio is an Architecture + Construction Firm located in Halifax, NS, and deal primarily in custom, high-end homes. The position of Office Administrator would include tasks such as:

• bi-weekly payroll
• client invoicing
• accounts payables + receivables
• staff scheduling
• book-keeping
• keeping insurance policies up to date
• quarterly remittances
• architectural award submissions
• etc.

The work environment is small, personal, and fast paced.

We are looking for someone who is organized, has a high attention to detail and enjoys a team environment. A general knowledge of Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel are an asset; a general knowledge of the Adobe Suite programs are an asset, but not required. We are willing to train individuals on programs as required.

Hours are generally 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, but hour / schedule flexibility can be discussed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
