About The Role
In this dual faceted role, a successful candidate will perform two key functions that are critical to our customer-centric operations. First, the individual will be responsible for accepting, processing, and confirming incoming quote requests and purchase orders. Secondly, the candidate is responsible for providing exceptional Customer Service by utilizing product knowledge and resources to address customer's questions, concerns or order changes.
Order Entry Responsibilities
- Receive and process orders for system entry
- Review orders for accuracy and completeness, and following up with the customer for any missing information
- Enter a high volume of orders efficiently and with great accuracy
- Collaborate and communicate with Order Entry and Sales Associate team members
- Establish and maintain organized files and records
- Perform additional data entry work as required
Customer Service Responsibilities
- Assist customers through phone and email with product, quote or order questions
- Utilize product knowledge to guide customers in selecting products, and seek aid from team members where needed
- Build and maintain relationships with customers
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Working knowledge of common office equipment
- Strong basic math skills
- Positive attitude with eye on customer satisfaction
- Office experience within a manufacturing company is an asset

Salary: $38,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
