Your role and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Payroll processing for weekly and bi-weekly payroll applicable to different clients, industries, and provinces.
- Client and staff timesheet management.
- Post payroll Journal Entries in the accounting systems.
- Process new hire, employee change and termination forms in payroll HRIS software program.
- File ROES and T4’s.
- Manage payroll remittance reports.
- Manage all staff payroll inquiries.
- Provide reports as required to Upper Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of payroll experience.
- Secondary Education in Payroll or equivalent (Asset).
- PCP Designation (Asset).
- Thorough understanding of payroll laws and regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Team oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of Excel (Required).
- HRIS Experience and software proficient (Asset)
