Our mission is to combat isolation and poverty among vulnerable seniors in Hastings County by building meaningful inter-generational connections. Many seniors face feelings of neglect and vulnerability, and our Youth-Senior Gift Exchange is designed to bridge this gap. This project pairs compassionate young volunteers with seniors in need, aiming to create lasting connections and alleviate the challenges faced by our elders. Additionally, we have our Senior’s Health and Hair Day, providing essential care to Seniors and making them feel valued.
We are seeking a passionate Volunteer Coordinator to join us in coordinating these meaningful events.
Your Impact: As a Volunteer Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable seniors. Your efforts will contribute to identifying and assisting those in need, recruiting and assisting in the training of young volunteers, supporting visitation, and ensuring a smooth and enriching experience for both seniors and volunteers.
