Project Manager Assistant

Jantzi Plumbing is looking for an assistant to work with the residential Project Manager. Jantzi plumbing has been in the industry for over 20 years and does a wide variety of different projects. Jantzi Plumbing also offers a wide variety of services: plumbing, HVAC, hydronic heating systems, gas work, well pumps and water treatment, etc.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Administrative Tasks

• Answer phones when needed and add messages to call log, or contact appropriate staff member to answer
• Monitor Call Log and respond to messages/post updates
• Complete Order Scheduling spreadsheet daily
• Print and review work orders daily

Scheduling Tasks

• Review and adjust schedules for residential plumbing team multiple times each day
• Check in with site staff each day to confirm job completeness, adjust schedule as needed to accommodate
• Check in with client/contractors about ongoing jobs to confirm schedule details
• Updating ongoing jobs spreadsheet multiple times a day

Project Organization Tasks

• Confirm all necessary information has been received in advance of project start date (do we have drawings, fixture lists/specs, etc.)
• Confirm parts and fixtures have been ordered/received for upcoming projects, check orders for accuracy if they are delivered to shop, have site staff check if they are delivered to site
• Schedule inspections as needed
• Add job information to Service Box (use checklists section to add Scope of Work, Fixtures Lists, Job completeness checklists AND add drawings/specs to the attachments)
• Ensure site staff completes detailed job notes and checklists

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
