Description of Duties:
Educator is responsible for the development and implementation of an early learning program, in line with “How Does Learning Happen” that supports and promotes the four foundations: well-being, engagement, expression, and belonging. Taking on a leadership role in the classroom. Educator will mindfully set up classroom in regards to age and interests of children, creating meaningful and thought out learning opportunities, following sanitation policies and daily cleaning checklists to ensure cleanliness of school and toys, following Ministry of Education guidelines and Deep Roots Nature and Nursery School policies and procedures, supervising children indoors and outdoors, supporting children's needs and wellbeing throughout program in a kind and thoughtful manner, documenting children's learning through learning stories and communicating with parents/guardians in a kind and respectful way.
You have
- A diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Registered with the College of ECE
- 2-5 years experience in a childcare setting
- CPR C certification
- Criminal Reference check (vulnerable sector)
- Up to date immunizations

Rate of pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on education and experience
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:00pm Additional hours as needed
