Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental office setting and possess strong organizational and communication skills.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct calls to appropriate individuals
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Handle billing and scheduling using Cleardent software
- Perform data entry tasks to update patient information
- Provide administrative support to the dental team as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Experience:
- Previous experience as a receptionist, preferably in a dental office setting
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong proofreading abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
