Safe Space Rehabilitation Centre is a privately operated, inter-professional facility that specializes in the treatment of individuals who have sustained injuries in a motor vehicle accident. We have a team of regulated health care professionals that provide services to our clients in a positive, professional, and welcoming environment and in a client centered approach.
Position Summary:
The receptionist is responsible to ensure the incoming clients’ files and referrals are being addressed, calling and scheduling patients, responding to emails, and billing.
Essential Job Duties/Tasks:
- Review clients’ files and identify what treatments need to be submitted

- Collect signatures from patients and submit treatment plan to required insurance companies
- Collect and upload all correspondence to client folder
- Track processes and submissions in excel tracker
- Refer approved treatment plan to department managers
- Communicate with clients and address all questions/concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Administer and manage all client files ensuring all relevant records, paperwork, reports, medical files, etc. are organized and updated in a timely manner
- Fax, scan and administer various reports, OCFs and paperwork as required
- Other asks as assigned
Qualifications
Experience:
- Medical and/or Treatment/rehabilitation clinic administrative experience (MVA clients an asset)
- Knowledge of the SABS including working knowledge of the OCF forms
- Minimum of 1 year in similar position
- Experience reviewing and managing medical files
Education and Certifications:
- University Degree in a related field

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
