We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to fill the position of a Hybrid Dealership Receptionist and Business Development Representative. This unique role combines the responsibilities of a traditional receptionist with the strategic and proactive aspects of a Business Development Representative. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, customer-focused professional with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in contributing to the growth and success of our dealership.
Responsibilities:
1. Receptionist Duties:
- Greet and welcome customers, visitors, and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and presentable.
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide basic information about products and services.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
2. Business Development Coordination:
- Enter notes in customer records in our CRM
- Advise clients of vehicle needs and recommendations
- Maintain a timely owner follow-up system
- Generate appointments by making proactive outbound phone calls and proper follow up with customers.
- Work with customers to understand their needs
- Work with customers to answer questions or concerns
- Do reminder and follow up phone calls
- Maintain awareness of factory-recommended maintenance schedules Unsold showroom follow up
- Answer emails and phone calls from customers who have demonstrated an interest in the company's products
- Provide information on and actively promote motor vehicles or promotions
- Schedule appointments with interested buyers for test drives and delivery of vehicles
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience in business administration or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist role and/or Business Development is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
