Title: Receptionist
Reports to: The Receptionist will report to the General Sales Manager of the dealership.
Job Overview: The initial face of the company for clients and prospects, the Receptionist plays an important role greeting and managing many individuals and phone calls in the dealership and directing them to the proper department. Furthermore, the Receptionist plays an important role in helping staff from other departments complete their work and organize information.
Responsibilities and duties
- Ensure telephones are answered promptly and in a courteous and professional manger
- Notify sales and other company personnel of customers arrival
- Ensure calls are dispatched appropriately and messages taken and distributed in a timely fashion
- Ensure customers are greeted and directed to the appropriate department in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow required administrative procedures while managing the front desk area
- Stock in vehicles and process vehicle items including tagging keys
- Maintain loaner and demo vehicles registration and follow procedure to get new registrations and plates when needed
- Collect mail and distribute it to the correct department
- Other tasks/duties that may change from time to time on requests by management
Qualifications
- 2 years receptionist experience (Preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal customer relations and communications skills
- Solid typing and filing abilities
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to $17.50 per hour
