Position Overview:
As the Office Administrator/Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients and visitors. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our auction house by providing administrative support to various departments and maintaining a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Direct guests to their items and ensure accuracy.
- Daily preparation of invoices and deliveries is essential to maintain a seamless workflow for the following day.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, taking messages when necessary and handling inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Assist with the registration process for auctions, including processing paperwork, answering questions, and providing support to clients.
- Handle incoming and outgoing e-mails. Handling packages and deliveries, distributing them to the appropriate recipients.
- Maintain office supplies inventory, ordering supplies as needed and ensuring stock levels are sufficient.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scanning, and photocopying.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed, including assisting with research, preparing documents, and organizing files.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow within the warehouse.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other basic office software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Full-Time / Monday-Friday / 10:00am – 6:00pm
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18.38-$19.02 per hour
