Receptionist/Assistant

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Receptionist & Assistant to join our team of 14 beauty professionals. We want someone who is passionate about the beauty industry and wants to grow with our team. This would be a great job a hairstylist student looking to get their start in the beauty industry.

You should be:

- Friendly and outgoing

- Dependable and punctual

- Detail oriented and organized

- Fashionable and well groomed

- Motivated to learn and grow professionally

Your should be able to:

- Make a great first impression

- Develop relationships with clients

- Communicate effectively in person and over the phone

- Work well with diverse people

- Work well in a collaborative team environment

- Multi-task effectively

Your daily tasks will include:

- Answering phones and booking appointments

- Checking in clients when they arrive and offering coffee/tea

- Sweeping hair, washing colour bowls, and other cleaning tasks

- Shampooing hair and preparing clients for services

- Cashing out a client after their service is complete

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Apprenticeship

Salary: $16.55 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
