Our Customer Service Representatives routinely speak to customers who are upset and worried for their animal companions. The successful candidate must be able to navigate a variety of situations and handle a high volume of calls and emails from customers who have questions, concerns and frustrations. In addition, the candidate must be able to work independently with minimal oversight. Experience with, or willingness and ability to learn veterinary terminology is an asset. A gentle, calming presence with people and animals is also an asset.

Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound calls.
• Make outbound calls.
• Provide customer service by responding to questions and concerns respectfully and patiently, keeping in mind a call to a vet clinic can be at a stressful time for a client.
• Maintain knowledge of all products and services. (Training will be provided.)
• Manage customer accounts and make recommendations.
• Handle account issues and suspensions.
• Work with customers to resolve problems.
• Handle email inquiries.
• Learn and use clinic software to schedule and manage appointments, accept payments, and assist clients in using pet insurance.
• Work collaboratively in a positive, team environment that fosters growth and responsibility.
• Reliably arrive to work on time. Consider the clinic's location before applying.
• Light cleaning and stocking duties
• Make furry friends feel welcome!

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 43 per week
