The Site Administrator is accountable for providing services to our clients that meet or exceed client expectations. The incumbent is to conduct all activities in a manner that supports the mission, vision, and values of the Fort McKay Group of Companies LP.
Key Focus:
- Provide guidance and support regarding payroll / billing inquires to site-based teams and employees of the Fort McKay Group of Companies.
- Time entry into Payroll System “Dayforce” and billing entry into Fieldglass
- Review and process day to day payroll / billing transactions including, but not limited to; pay rate & position changes, special payment requests, etc.
- Investigate and correct any pay queries in a timely manner.
- Understand provincial and federal privacy laws, as it pertains to collection of personal information.
- Maintain daily tracking spreadsheets for data collection.
- Complete daily and monthly reconciliations in a timely manner.
- Involvement and support of any general administrative activities within the Department.
- Process New hire set up with Syncrude(Suncor) Onboarding.
- Uploading daily entries into Fieldglass
- Investigate and rectify Fieldglass rejections.
- Completion of a High School Diploma, or a GED equivalent is required. Candidates with post-secondary education in Accounting or Business will be an asset.
- A valid Class 5 License (or equivalent) is required, along with a satisfactory 3-year Drivers Abstract.
- Knowledge in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, Fieldglass, and Outlook is required. (Willing to train in Fieldglass)
- Experience in Field glass and/or Ceridian Dayforce HCM is considered an asset.
- At least 2-4 years of experience in payroll, accounting, or a related discipline.
- Good knowledge of payroll principles and practices.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including good oral, written communication, and listening skills.
- Strong customer service skills, with an ability to support internal and external clients.
- Strong attention to detail with an exceptional level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and multitask, as well as work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta Employment Standards
Work Schedule is 7 on and 7 off; 12 hours per day
