Schill Insurance Brokers is looking for two Strata Specialists to join our Strata Department in our Surrey (Guildford) location.

About the Role
As a Strata Specialist, you are an integral member of our team and a key point of contact for our clients. We work hard with property managers, strata council members, duplex owners, and unit owners. As an insurance broker, we are on the side of our clients, not insurance companies.
Responsibilities
- Work with Property Managers and Self-Governed Strata Councils to determine their insurance needs and provide expert advice to ensure the best coverage for them
- Learn how to identify risk exposures stratas face and what coverages are required to address the exposures
- Maintain, manage, and increase a book of business and strong client relationships through proactive contact, prospecting, selling and referrals
- Develop insurance solutions for clients that meet their needs and ensure they are updated on coverage changes and risk exposures
- Manage and process renewals on a timely basis and maintain high levels of client retention.
- Support clients in the claims process
About You
- Knowledge of the insurance industry with commercial experience an asset
- A natural ability at building authentic customer relationships and function as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion are important qualities
- Strong work ethic without sacrificing your ability to have fun every day.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and EPIC
- High School graduate
- Level 2 BC Insurance license preferred
