**THIS POSITION CAN BE LOCATED IN CALGARY OR SURREY**
What you'll do:
Collaborate with Senior HR Directors, Talent Acquisition Specialists, and the Talent Strategy teams to build and implement Transport talent attraction and pipelining initiatives.
Develop, refine and optimize talent attraction and Marketing Plans nationally for all stakeholder groups to attract and recruit for scarce talent within a highly competitive and saturated market for Class 1 Cross Border drivers
Effectively partner with Hiring Managers and team members to define recruitment needs, talent profiles and recruitment strategies
Ensure that the employee brand is standardized and represented consistently across the country. Lead, develop and measure employment branding initiatives, in partnership with enterprise employment branding teams to build a world class colleague value proposition for Transport professionals
Develop the Transport Talent Pipelines, and coordinate its application to existing open requisitions, equipping and enabling national Talent Acquisition Specialists on its effective application against their regional requisitions and business demand for talent
Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Specialists and HR Directors on Marketing initiatives to ensure that all investments and resources are optimized with a solid Return on Investment
Actively headhunt potential candidates by developing Talent Pipelines, and coordinate its application to existing open requisition, equipping and enabling national Talent Acquisition Specialists on its effective application against their regional requisitions and business demand for talent
Lead, develop and measure employment branding initiatives, in partnership with enterprise employment branding teams to build an extraordinary colleague value proposition
Partner with recruitment peers across the business, to coordinate virtual recruitment events, sourcing initiatives and talent attraction campaigns
Identify recruitment opportunities through connecting with various community groups, developing a strategy for sourcing a diverse and inclusive talent pool.
Lead and maintain relations with external vendors and partners to support overall strategic objectives
Build and maintain working relationships with internal partners to understand current and future recruitment needs and determine optimum sourcing strategies
Develop recruitment metrics and core indicators to drive overall accountability and efficiency
Identify gaps using data and leverage insights to influence decision making or solutions
Building and leading diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging
What you bring:
5+ years of experience in recruitment within a Transport Fleet business
Solid understanding of “leading market” sourcing and recruitment techniques and methods; effective at identifying and sourcing passive candidates; strong direct sourcing capabilities.
Strong candidate relationship management skills, with practical experience in building, maintaining and demonstrating proactive candidate pipelines for current and future Job Postings and Requisitions
Project Management and execution skills
Ability to manage and influence multiple partners in a national, regional and local capacity
Knowledge of modern recruitment systems, innovations and recruitment related social media platforms, with the ability to apply these tools to attract, engage and retain talent
Exposure to an applicant tracking system (ATS) preferably Workday
Proven ability and creativity in recruitment methods, attracting candidates from unexpected sources
Post-secondary education equivalent to a diploma or degree in HR or a related field
