Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading and executing the end-to-end Talent Acquisition Process for salaried and hourly (union and non-union) positions across Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the execution of the end-to-end Talent Acquisition Process for all salaried, hourly and union employees across all business units in Canada.
- Partner with the other members of the HR team and hiring Managers.
- Revise role profiles, job evaluations, understand the job requirements, intake meetings, understand local challenges, screening and assessing technical and behavioral competencies, conduct interviews, prepare and conduct debriefs, pre-employment, offers of employment.
- Act as an ambassador building the talent brand through leveraging Talent Acquisition events, social media, innovative sourcing methods, and targeted partnerships.
- Talent Acquisition reporting and scorecards to monitor progress & ensure delivery on objectives and review progress reports with HR and the hiring Managers as required.
- Continuously improve the Talent Acquisition process.
- Assist in the delivery of HR programs and initiatives.
- Supports and contributes to the success of the HR team by performing other HR related tasks.
- College or University degree in Human Resources and/or in a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sourcing and talent acquisition.
- Fluently bilingual (English and French), both written and spoken.
- Passionate about Talent Acquisition.
- Strong candidate assessment abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Results driven, high performing, collaborative, shows initiative, proactive.
- Advanced knowledge and use of Ceridian Dayforce Recruitment Software and/or other Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
