Position Summary

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for leading and executing the end-to-end Talent Acquisition Process for salaried and hourly (union and non-union) positions across Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the execution of the end-to-end Talent Acquisition Process for all salaried, hourly and union employees across all business units in Canada.
• Partner with the other members of the HR team and hiring Managers.
• Revise role profiles, job evaluations, understand the job requirements, intake meetings, understand local challenges, screening and assessing technical and behavioral competencies, conduct interviews, prepare and conduct debriefs, pre-employment, offers of employment.
• Act as an ambassador building the talent brand through leveraging Talent Acquisition events, social media, innovative sourcing methods, and targeted partnerships.
• Talent Acquisition reporting and scorecards to monitor progress & ensure delivery on objectives and review progress reports with HR and the hiring Managers as required.
• Continuously improve the Talent Acquisition process.
• Assist in the delivery of HR programs and initiatives.
• Supports and contributes to the success of the HR team by performing other HR related tasks.

Qualifications

• College or University degree in Human Resources and/or in a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sourcing and talent acquisition.

• Advanced knowledge and use of Ceridian Dayforce Recruitment Software and/or other Applicant Tracking Systems.
