A wonderful opportunity has become available for a Saturday position at Pet Vet. We are a well-established and progressive small animal practice located in Steinbach, Manitoba. We are a busy and growing four-doctor practice with a skilled and supportive team. This is a fast-paced environment where learning and development is encouraged and supported. We are proud to be independently owned and operated with a strong focus on our community. This position would be ideal for a student who potentially wants to gain experience for a future in veterinary medicine.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide professional and friendly telephone assistance to clients
- Maintain accurate medical records and client correspondence
- Processing financial transactions
- Assisting clients with food and over-the-counter sales
- Replying to emails
- Provide exemplary customer service
- Maintain a clean and organized hospital environment
We are looking for a compassionate, mature, and organized team player. Previous experience working with animals is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate, including mature students! Strong computer skills and interpersonal skills are required. The potential for more hours exists, if desired.
