Accounting Clerk

About the Position:

We are seeking motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk(s) to support our Ottawa office team and field staff. The ideal candidate(s) will be responsible for managing various accounts receivable and accounts payable processing, effectively and efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of their work. This role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers.

Responsibilities:

Issue invoices to customers in a timely manner.

Reconcile customers’ accounts receivable ledger.

Maintain records of transactions related to customers and vendors.

Review and verify invoices for accuracy and approval.

Email correspondence and file organization relating to customers invoicing.

Enter invoices data and post it into the accounting system.

Correspond with customers and vendors and respond to inquiries.

Assist with other accounting tasks and special projects as needed.

Profile Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred. 1-3 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics (Business Central).

Previous experience with the Dynamics Jobs module would be an asset.

Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
