Accounting Clerk

Sante is looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our Finance Team within our newly designed Waterloo office. We are currently managing the daily accounting and periodic financial analysis duties for 7 related companies.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (QBO), the current accounting software.
• Accurately input financial transactions into QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Reconcile and post all vendor invoices for 7 companies.
• Manage vendor relationships and accounts for the 7 companies.
• Conduct regular reconciliation of bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate information.
• Post journal entries to reflect financial transactions.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Report to the Director of Finance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO); experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to exercise discretion.
• Proficient in multitasking and managing internal/external stressors.
• Critical and analytical thinking skills.
• Effective time management.
• Strong analytics and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent listening, presentation, and communication skills.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with a preference for 1-2 years in an Accounting Clerk or bookkeeping role.
• Payroll experience is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal English skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
