Archaeological Research Associates Ltd. is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk to support our administrative team.

The Role
The Accounting Clerk‘s primary function is to provide support to the Accounting Supervisor, in particular invoicing, and accounts payable, and perform general accounting and administrative duties as assigned. Comprehensive training will be provided upon start.
Responsibilities and Competencies:
- Primary focus on invoicing
- Accounts payable data entry
- Account reconciliations
- Journal entries
- Report preparation
- Bi-weekly payroll support and processing of employee expenses

Requirements:
- Experience with AR & AP duties
- Familiarity with accounting principals and procedures.
- Competency in MS Office and QuickBooks Online an asset
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
