Accounting Clerk

At GR Cars, we are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. This individual should have accounting experience with QuickBooks & Excel.

Required Skills & Experience

• 1 - 3 years of experience is a must
• Strong experience in QuickBooks
• Strong experience in Excel
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

The job is only from the company’s office. There is no option to work remotely.

Duties:

• Process vehicle sales transactions.
• Process vehicle purchases and lien payouts
• Process vendor invoices and prepare cheques for payment.
• Prepare daily deposits and follow up on outstanding items
• Maintain and reconcile relative schedules on a routine basis
• Assist with month-end closing, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Assist with other accounting, admin tasks, and special projects as required
• Record, and post customer payments in the accounting system.
• Perform data entry to update and maintain financial records.
• File, scan, and organize financial documents and records for easy retrieval.
• Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts and credit card transactions.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes and help with account analysis and reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with payroll processing and related tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
