Accounting Clerk

Automotive Dealership is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk with office located in Medicine Hat.
This is a full-time, on site accounts receivable and vehicle deal posting clerk. The clerk will have exposure to full cycle accounts receivable duties, invoicing, communication with clients, applying received payments, processing credit applications, credit checks and performing collection duties as well as analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy in billing and payments. The clerk is responsible for posting all vehicle deals, reconciling accounts and communication with sales managers, sales people and controller.
Qualifications

• 2 + years’ accounting experience

• Analytical skills with much attention to detail

• Accurate

• Experience in accounts receivable, invoicing and collections

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines

• Proficient in Excel

• Strong computer & keyboarding skills

• Prior accounting education (including a diploma or certificate) is an asset

• Automotive experience is an asset

Salary from $42,000 / year – Permanent, Full-Time Monday - Friday
