SalaryDo you have an eye for detail who enjoys math and numbers? We are currently looking for a Bookkeeper. When you join the team at Interlake Salvage & Recycling Inc., not only will you track expenses, but also gain experience in how ISR helps clean up steel, one yard at a time. The ideal candidate should have the ability to multitask, have exceptional computer skills and be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. If you have previous experience in Bookkeeping, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
- Process Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable including balancing cash and posting sales invoices.
- Reconciling multiple accounts on a timely basis
- Research account transactions to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Record receipts/Bank deposits.
- Process weights/scale tickets & payments for clients.
- Preparing reports for management
- Perform general tasks such as data entry, scanning & filing.
- Other duties as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks & Excel
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent organization & prioritization skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong ethical skills
- Must be able to work well under pressure.
- Enjoys being part of a team.

Salary: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
