We have an exciting opportunity to join our Team as we are actively recruiting for Administration - Scheduling Assistant responsible for providing administrative to support the Plant Scheduler to achieve production scheduling requirements. This position reports to the Production Scheduling Supervisor.

What we’re looking for
- Create, maintain and ensure execution of the production schedule
- Compile worksheets and specifications for orders
- Estimate materials and labour required for production and track production progress
- Create, print and sort work orders and associated documents
- Track work orders and provide updated status to supervisors
- Follow up on shortages with purchasing and plant personnel
- Kit stock to fulfill work order demand
- Process customer delivery expedite requests
- Coordinate the customer return of authorized materials
- Inventory validation and counting as required
What you need to succeed
- Secondary school diploma required
- Completion of College/University program preferred
- ERP system experience required (Epicor experience an asset)
- Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task
- Sound written and verbal skills to communicate within all levels of the organization
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Able to maintain filing systems and information databases
