Duties:
- Provide administrative support to various departments within the organization
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records
- Conduct research and compile information as needed
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Perform general office tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department
- Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial recordkeeping
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in written communications
- Familiarity with Google Suite for document management and collaboration
- Experience working as a clerk or in an administrative role preferred
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients and visitors
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of filing systems and organizational techniques
- Familiarity with phone systems and proper phone etiquette
- Comfortable working with computerized systems
