Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and execute events from start to finish
- Coordinate with clients to determine event requirements and objectives
- Research and select suitable venues, vendors, and suppliers
- Manage event budgets and ensure all expenses are within budgetary constraints
- Create event timelines and schedules to ensure smooth execution
- Coordinate event logistics, including setup, teardown, and equipment rental
- Experience in managing weddings, corporate events, ticketed events is essential
- Collaborate with marketing team to promote events and increase attendance
- Provide exceptional guest services and address any issues or concerns that may arise during events
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively plan and coordinate multiple events simultaneously
- Excellent time management abilities to meet deadlines and ensure timely execution of events
- Budgeting skills to manage event expenses within allocated budgets
- Upselling skills to maximize revenue through additional event offerings or services
- Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences in the hospitality industry
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and attendees
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances
- Proficient in using event management software or tools for registration, ticketing, and tracking
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft
- Knowledge of wedding and high end events preferred
