Our client is looking to bring on an Event Coordinator to help facilitate growth in their Member Services Department and act as an ambassador for their respectable brand.

This candidate will step in where needed to support the expansion of high impact events, and will collaborate with the team to develop and action marketing and social media plans.

This role is perfect for eager, savvy junior candidates who are looking to work in a mentoring environment with a collaborative team, and who enjoy streamlining processes for seamless operation.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

The key job functions are:

  • Overseeing the management of all events (planning, budgeting, vendor sourcing, contract management, etc.) and providing same-day support to ensure smooth execution (setup, tear down and connecting with key contacts)
  • Creating event strategy while maintaining event tracking and prospect updates
  • Reporting and collaborating with shareholders to ensure maximum attendance of all events
  • Adhering to event budget requirements by keeping track of vendor PO’s and invoice payments
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset

Qualifications: 

  • Proficient in MS 365 and CRM databases such as Microsoft Dynamics, etc.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in event management or a related field
  • Experience delivering events in all mediums (in-person, virtual and hybrid)

Skills:

  • Professional, positive and confident personality
  • Self-motivated go-getter with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, able to solve problems before they arise
  • High attention to detail and organization
  • Outstanding time management skills, able to meet strict deadlines with ease
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders and executives
  • Flexible and adaptable in nature, able to shift priorities at any given time and manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Level-headed, able to remain calm under pressure and flourish in a fast-paced environment
  • Tech savvy and able to learn new softwares with ease

Base Salary: $55,000 – 65,000+ per year

  • Salary is based on experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package

Work Hours:

  • Full time hours
  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
