SalaryThe Town of Drumheller is seeking an enthusiastic and industrious individual for the position of Full Time Facility Operator.
Position Summary: Responsible for operational readiness and maintenance of the Town’s recreation and administrative facilities and buildings. Responsible for the maintaining and repairing of facilities and associated equipment. Perform the duties of all subordinate classifications when not in this capacity.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Class 5 license
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- A good knowledge regarding operation of industrial refrigeration systems would be an asset
- Preference given to those individuals with direct experience in the plumbing field, and troubleshooting controls and maintenance of HVAC systems, as well as a good understanding of pressure vessels, their processes, limits and controls with hot water and steam boiler systems
- Pool Operator 1
- Arena Operator 1
- Perform other duties as required
**Successful applicant will be required to respond within 30 minutes during on call rotation
Must be able to provide a satisfactory current Criminal Record Check as well as a Vulnerability Check
Hours per Week: Shift work & weekends, on call as required
Pay Scale:Facility Operator (Training) or Facility Operator depending on qualifications
- Facility Operator (Training) - $28.62
- Facility Operator - $29.92
