Hr Generalist

Duties:

• Assist with the implementation and administration of HR programs and policies
• Payroll backup
• Manage the foreign worker program
• Manage the vacations
• WSIB & Claims management
• Implement and train the workforce on HR SOP's
• Create a new hire mannual
• Handle all employee concerns
• Support HR projects
• Ensure all employment standards and occupational health & safety standards are being adhered to

Skills:

• Post-Secondary education degree/diploma in a Human Resources or related field; or equivalent education and experience
• SHRM designation or willing to work towards
• 4-6 years of progressive generalist HR experience
• Strong background in Employment Standards, WSIB and the OHSA
• Payroll experience - ADP
• Claims management experience
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
