Duties:
- Assist with the implementation and administration of HR programs and policies
- Payroll backup
- Manage the foreign worker program
- Manage the vacations
- WSIB & Claims management
- Implement and train the workforce on HR SOP's
- Create a new hire mannual
- Handle all employee concerns
- Support HR projects
- Ensure all employment standards and occupational health & safety standards are being adhered to
Skills:
- Post-Secondary education degree/diploma in a Human Resources or related field; or equivalent education and experience
- SHRM designation or willing to work towards
- 4-6 years of progressive generalist HR experience
- Strong background in Employment Standards, WSIB and the OHSA
- Payroll experience - ADP
- Claims management experience
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
